Aside from the agenda of the public school system to brainwash and indoctrinate our kids to their system of debt slavery and accepting authority rather than exercising their god-given rights of freedom and liberty, there are many other reasons to home school; as a home schooling parent, I appreciate the flexibility of our schedule compared to non-home-schooling families. But even more, I appreciate being able to spend more time with my child, and to allow her the time to pursue her creative outlets - so many of her friends are in school for eight or more hours a day, including after and pre-care - they could be in for 12 hours. That does not leave much time for introspection or experimentation with and pursuit of other interests...
